Underprivileged Children in the Dominican Republic to Gain Access to New Computers
NEW YORK (January 8, 2013) – 1010data, Inc., a market leader in the analyzing, managing and sharing of big data, today announced the company will be participating in the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) at the National Retail Federation Annual Convention & EXPO from January 13-16 in New York City. 1010data will donate a computer to the RetailROI computer lab in the Dominican Republic for every qualified retailer that signs up in advance and completes a 10-minute demo presentation.
“RetailROI is a great organization which aims to provide real solutions for the more than 400 million underprivileged children worldwide,” said Jed Alpert, vice president of marketing at 1010data. “At 1010data we understand the value of access to technology and we are excited to be able to raise awareness for a charitable cause while also helping children to succeed through a donation to the RetailROI computer lab initiative.”
“These computers are a tremendous leg up for hundreds of children and we are so thankful for 1010data and all of the companies and individuals helping RetailROI,” said Greg Buzek, President of IHL Group and Donor Trustee for the Retail Orphan Initiative. “A child in a developing country that receives computer training along with English language training can enhance their earning potential by eight times more than just education alone.”
The beneficiaries of the computers donated by 1010data will be three computer labs in the Dominican Republic, which will be set up in March 2013. To sign up for a demo and to participate in this great opportunity, please visit - www.1010data.com/nrf or contact Jim Mattecheck at email@example.com.
